I'm not voting again, and I guess my comment was deleted, so I'll
write the comment.

 What's wrong with the radio?  Technical problems of reception
or technical problems with the radio?

If it's reception, then two solutions:
a- put pressure on for a change in bands
b- if there are problems with the school's radio, then they'd have the same
problem if they used a tape.

 What would make things easier would be a cassette (one side A and
one side other) or disk, with easy demarcation of modules for emergencies,
instead of having to search through the cassette for LD's.

 If a school's going to cheat, nothing will stop it.
