Subject: elementary school English -jokes

Hi everyone!
For all of us who still have a full month of teaching to go 
I want to suggest teaching the pupils some jokes in english. 
Jokes teach them multiple word meanings and help them practice
fluency in a fun way.
   
For example, here's a joke I taugth my 5 th grade classes successfully:
   
Why is six afraid of seven?
   
Because seven ate (eight) nine.
   
It took them a while to understand why it was funny but once I get them 
to practice it a number of times they start to get the idea. 
I post the joke up in the classroom and they also copy it into their 
notebooks to practice at home.
   
Now a request from the group: please help me expand my extremely limited

joke repetoire- please send me 5th,6th grade appropriate jokes to use at
school.
   
Another request: let's try to get some more participation from 
elementary school teachers.
Sometimes I feel there's no one else out there besides me!
