I support the strike but...

Questions:

Does more money assure the nation that the teachers will be more
professional. Does it mean that classes will start on time? Are we to
understand that basic discipline will reign?  That technology will take its
rightful place with traditional teaching methods? And so on ... ... .

After teaching for 34 years and having experienced many strikes and raises I
have come to the conclusion that the answers to the above will probably be
NO.
