Subject: B composition for MLD

I was amazed at the rubrics for the special B compositon.  Out of the 12 
points, the highest
number, 5, goes for "Language Use," meaning grammar.  That includes word order, 
pronouns,
prepositons etc. Vocabulary gets only 3 and Content and Organization 4.
   
  This makes no sense, since even the best of the advanced students have 
problems with
prepositons etc.  Also, Language Use in the rubrics for the regular students 
has much less
weight.
   
  As one who specializes in teaching weak students, I think it would make more 
sense if 6 points
went to Content and Organization, 4 points to Vocabulary and the remaining 2 
for  Language Use.
