Shalom All,
I have always wondered why we all divide our 4 and 5 pupils into different
groups at the oral bagrut examinations. The rubric we use to test our pupils
is the same for 4 and 5 so why do we make the division. I think it is unfair
as I am sure we all expect more for the 5 pointers and less from the 4
pointers. We should have mixed groups and the testers should not be told
whether the pupil is a 5 pointer or 4. This way the pupils will really be
tested on ability and not from what we expect of them.
What do you all think?
All the best,
Iris.
