[etni] etni housekeeping - part 1 of 3

Hi all,

I will periodically send an "etni housekeeping" message to the list to clarify 
things that have to do with the ETNI website, etc. 
As I haven't done this in a while, I will cover three different issues today, 
and do so in three separate emails.

ETNI Jobs section:

Some of you have asked why the ads that you submit to the ETNI Jobs section 
don't go up right away.

I try to put these ads up on the site at least within 3 days after they are 
submitted, but at times (such as during holiday weeks, etc.) these things do 
take a bit longer. And there has been a significant increase over the years in 
the number of ads being sent to the list for posting. I hope to have all of the 
ads, that are presently waiting for posting, up by the end of tomorrow - 
Sunday, and will try to keep to the promise of having them up at least 3 days 
after posting in the future.

*Note - If it is extremely important that an ad goes up right away, please send 
the ad to me directly (to - david@xxxxxxxx) and note that it is urgent, and I 
will make every effort to put it up as soon as possible.

**Another note - Some people have a problem submitting ads through the online 
form. This is usually because of local security settings (local firewall, etc.) 
on their computer. If you have a problem submitting an ad through the online 
form, send it as a regular email message to - ask@xxxxxxxx , and note that it 
is for posting on the site (rather than simply forwarding it to the list).
