Greetings, all!
With the growing number of kids per class and the cutting back of teaching
hours, there are more and more students who are not getting enough learning
experiences in the English classroom and need outside help. Most of us teach in
schools that forbid giving extra lessons to our own students, and even forbid
giving extra lessons to students from the same school that we teach in. Often,
when students (or parents) ask about outside lessons, we don’t know who to
suggest.
Perhaps we can use ETNI as a way to match up students who need extra help with
teachers who are looking for private students. David, is there any way we could
use the ETNI site for this purpose? Perhaps you could open up another
sub-section in the JOBS section for this specific match-up process.
While we are waiting for a clearing house to be created (hopefully), if anyone
has a middle school or high school student who would like to learn/review
English next year via Skype and other Internet-based tools, please let me know.
I’m not talking about prepping for exams; I’m talking about really learning
English.
