[etni] Three tests in one day?

< I have been a lurker for many years but somehow I feel that I have to
speak up after the discussions about the NBA. Many of you complained that 3
exams on one day is too much - I agree with you, but I never dreamed of
having my pupils take all exams in one day unless it is a special case , a
special pupil that chooses to do so. <SNIP>

Doing two or three moadim can be a major problem timewise. Think about it:
Three days of Magen tests, three days in which the students have off for the
Bagrut. The disruptions to their regular schedule will not be appreciated by
their other teachers! This year, I prepared my borderline 3/4-pointers for
Modules A, B and C. This meant several days or half-days off for the students
(Matkonet, oral Magen, day before oral Bagrut, oral Bagrut, day before Bagrut,
Bagrut), and obviously they will have to go through all that again next year.
To do that over 3 moadim (OK, even only a Matkonet, day before the Bagrut +
Bagrut) is a tremendous waste of teaching time.

All the best,
Rivka
