One more letter of thanks.

I would like to thank the conference organizers for allowng the teachers 
involved in the UNICEF projects to have a table at the conference. We were 
positioned just outside the book exhibition so many teachers passed our stall. 
Apart from selling UNICEF greeting cards and toys we were able to show 
portfolios that students had prepared, some for the Bagrut exam. This is the 
first time we have had the opportunity of displaying students' work in this 
way, and we are indeed grateful for the opportunity. Devoted UNICEF volunteers, 
often missing presentations, were on hand to explain what they and their 
students had done. 

Four English teachers are members of the Israel Committee for UNICEF. This year 
the Committee received grants from UNICEF for children in the North affected by 
the Second Lebanon War as well as for children from Shderot.
