WIshing you a healthy and prosperous year, with peace and harmony for all our
peoples.
We are pleased to announce that the TETEC meetings ( ?Teaching English Through
Exploration of Cultures?) where English teachers from East and West Jerusalem
meet together, will begin again in November for a 56 hour (plus grade) course.
In this year?s program, teachers will learn with experts in the fields of
Islamic and Jewish Music & Art. We will work together using a variety of media
for preparing, creating and implementing units of language instruction based on
interesting content. creating learning centers, projects and interest corners;
and introducing on-line multicultural school projects
Together with experienced leaders, we will explore issues of Conflict
Resolution, Self and Others? Identity, through exploration of the Arts.
People interested in effective, content-based English language teaching in
Elementary, Junior High and High Schools are invited to join. The first
meeting will be on Thursday Nov. 18th 2004 at 14:45p.m.
