the semi-formal letter was taken off the bagrut a few years ago.
the D kids have to write ONLY informal letters.
the only thing i teach them regarding this is to use "Your's truly" if
writing to an adult they do not know.
(and not to write "I miss you" to some one they don't know etc. etc. etc.)

Last minute confirmation:
A semi-formal letter (Mod. D) contains:
1) Sender's address 2) Date 3) Opening 4) Closing
Do I have that right? Or can the students simply use the informal letter
format (i.e. date, opening, closing)?
Thanks,
Tzvi
P.S. Please forgive me if this has been thrashed out already- I had put
my subscription on hold and I can't find any list archives.
