[etni] Recording tests for students

As long as this topic is a thread right now-- I have never received an answer to my question of what exactly is hakra'a in 7th 8th and 9th grades? Is it a recording or is it a teacher reading aloud? If it's a recording-- the teachers in my school can only use a tape recorder for which, today, no one has Walkmans anymore. We don't know how to record onto discs or MP3's. Also, what about the student who doesn't have an MP3?What are we supposed to do? I'd appreciate an OFFICIAL answer. Thank you Fruma
