[etni] "Poetry Festival"

I was wondering if anyone has ever done anything like this and can give me some tips -

For the last poem in their literature program, I want to bring a few poetry books to school (Frost, Dickinson, Whitman, and the different high school anthologies), have each pair of kids select a poem and present it to the class.

I thought to have 1 double lesson for them to understand the poem (where i could help) and think of how to present. (poster, reading, drawings,...) then they would prepare the presentations at home and present in class.

This is a 5 point class of mostly computer majors, who were shocked when i taught the first poem in 10th grade. but i think they are mature enough now to read and understand a poem by themselves (with some help) and it would be interesting to see what poems they choose and what they do with them.
