I have just completed a CD of original songs for each Jewish holiday. This is an ideal way to teach English and about the Chagim at the same time! Although the songs are in English, there are Hebrew words intertwined to help the non-English speaker have a reference point. I find that my Dovreii Anglit and Ivrit both love to listen to the songs and sing the choruses over and over (the girls make up dances to them!). I use the songs to introduce lessons (I teach 4th through 8th grades).
