limited.  Don't let being outside Jerusalem put you off, as we will car
pool. and it\s easy to find Robin's apartment.  When you phone  to make
reservations, let me know that you will need a ride.  The same goes for the
drivers, please let me know how many people you can take.

This is his only sojourn in our area, (at our friend Robin's place in Maale
Adoumin), so this is your chance to see him:

 

"Totem Pole Rik Palieri

Rik Palieri- Singer/storyteller , author. Plays folk banjo, guitar, & flutes
He has worked with Pete Seeger, and was featured on the Grammy Nominated CD
"Singing Through The Hard Times."

"Totem Pole Rik Palieri,(pronounced Pal-air-re). It's an Italian
occupational name that means the shovel maker. He comes from a family of
storytellers with ancestors from both Poland and Italy.

He sings and performs both original and traditional songs on a variety of
folk instruments, including the banjo, 6 & 12 string guitars, mouth bow,
Native American flute and a collection of rare Polish bagpipes.

He has performed in some famous places like The 40th Philadelphia Folk
Festival, The Vancouver Folk Festival, The Port Fairy Folk Festival, Cafe
Lena, The Hudson River Revival, The Bitter End, The Blue Bird Cafe, and
Trumps Taj Mahal and will perform at Israel's Jacob's Ladder in May 2012.

In all his shows he features a fun evening of fast banjo picking, exotic
instruments, sing-a-longs, original song writing and a little bit of
yodelling. He also likes to sprinkle my songs with stories.
