I would love to hear from Junior High teachers  (7th -8th - 9th grades) as 
to how they deal with the  kids who are allowed to get tests read to them.   
We have approxamitely 30 kids in a grade who have this and we are drowning 
in testing.  To read each test takes about 3 hours, kids can't do it in a 
group,  we tried telling them to bring the teacher a blank cassette a week 
before and on the day of the test we bring the recorded version (that a 
teacher has made and copied umpteen times)  and the student brings a 
Walkman, but that's not totally successful either.     We can't go on like 
this 4 times a year, 3 shchvot, 2 or 3 hakbatzot in a shichva!!   How much 
is our obligation really and what do others do with this??   Someone told me 
that even in High Schools the most kids get is the Unseen read to them and 
the rest they just manage alone.  Is this true??  Thanks   Fruma
