  Hi there

  I would appreciate it if you could give me some advice: it is possible 
that we might be moving to Israel in the coming year as my husband is 
applying for a job working with the Church of Scotland there.  I am trying 
to think ahead and understand what I myself could do to find work should he 
be offered the job and we move to Israel.

  I am a qualified Primary School teacher with an MA degree in French and 
Italian. I also speak some conversational German and Russian. I am qualified 
in British Sign Language up to Stage 2. I have over 20 years teaching 
experience ranging from being a mainstream primary class teacher to Senior 
Teacher in a school for Deaf children, to specialist support teacher for 
children with learning difficulties, which is my current job.  It mainly 
involves teaching language and some basic mathematics, as well as behaviour 
support for children with ADHD and giving advice to class teachers on how to 
support pupils who have Additional Support Needs.

  During the course of my present job, I have done several courses on the 
subject of how people learn to read and write the English language: along 
with the linguistics I studied for my degree, this has given me a very 
thorough understanding of how the English language works and I would be 
interested in any teaching job within Israel, either with children or 
adults, which involved teaching English.

  What would I have to do in order to be able to apply for a teaching job 
should we move to Israel?  And what do you think would be my chances of 
getting a post?  Please advise me in any way you can.
