Not that we need any more proof of how little we earn but this is what a friend in Ohio wrote me when I told her how much I got paid a month for my half time teaching job (MA, license and teachers ceritficate) .
That's awful that you get paid so little for teaching, Gloria. I could CLEAR more than that if I subbed ten days, and subbing pays less than half as much as full-time teaching with no experience or master's degree. And Ohio is not considered a high-paying state for teachers.
