From experience at our school -
you MUST have a representative of your union (irgun, histadrut) at any
meeting . Not the school va'ad.
A teacher at our school was hit by a pupil - and the irgun was only brought
into the picture after she had said some things at a meeting that prevented
the irgun from doing anything further (like a strike of our teachers.)
I don't know exactly what happened then , but I remember the irgun person
came and talked to us and stressed that if something like this happens
again, to get in touch with them AT ONCE.
It is horrible that we have to put up with these things.
Good luck!
