Do you happen to have ANYTHING on Beware of Dog? I read it, got it but I'll
have to admit I do not quite understand how I can compare it to the Enemy.
They are both the Enemy, both treated well, one set free the other
interrogated and lied to... Is that it?
Thanks, Michaela M.

Hollywood style) how the Japanese usually treated their POWs?
Also you can read with the class "Beware of Dog" by Roald Dahl, which
is another story about a POW who has also been injured. Finally I often
teach the other side of the story ie how the Americans treated the Japanese
during WW2 using a excerpt from "Snow Falling on Cedars" by David Guterson
and the poem " In Response to Executive Order 9066" by Dwight Okita - both
pieces can be found in Voices (ECB).
