I'm no official but I can tell you that the Oxford English-English-Hebrew
dictionary which is the only dictionary students are allowed to use for
Bagrut purposes has the British spelling only for such words. For a good
example, look up "endeavor" in that dictionary. The same dictionary will
give you the British spelling for tumour although the American spelling is
written in brackets - "parenthsesis" for our neighbours across the
sea:( in older versions of that dictionary.
