Why start off with Module E? In our school, our strong 4 pointers study
together with the 5 pointers since there aren't enough students for three
separate groups. They ALL do C in 10th, D in 11th, and the five-pointers do
E in the winter of 12th, and F and G in the summer. (The four-pointers do E
in the summer.) And no, as far as I am concerned, this doesn't mean that all
their English revolves around the Bagrut, because they ought to be able to
do C quite easily, so we spend very little time on that, and even D is one
module so how much time do we need for that. We use textbooks up to and
including 12th grade, teach all the literature, do lots of extensive
reading, do a project, etc., and this way the kids also have their "back-up"
four-point test in case anything goes wrong.
All the best,
Rivka
