Saw your posting. Sorry that I don't have an answer for you this time round but I do have a question !
Besides being an English teacher, I am a singer/actress (we have our own educational theatre :
www.lachmish-hafakot.com) and at present I am preparing a "game songs" show for elementary school children. Do many elementary schools have an English Day and from your experience, do you think schools would budget such a production which would consist of 2 professional singer/actresses, professional sound equipment, stage backdrop (simple "tafora"), professional pre-recorded playbacks and would cost around 1500-1800 IS including VAT for up to 150 children, around 2500 - 2800 IS for 2 performances in succession and 3200 - 3500 IS for 3 in succession?
The songs would all be "catchy" and fun, with certain words that repeat themselves so that there is vocabulary enrichment and reinforcement. Also, we would supply teachers with the lyrics so that they could follow up in class as they please.
I'd appreciate your feedback !
