I like books with answers in them. I think that it's great
that a kid can check his or her own self when doing practice
tests or practice dumb-dumb grammar exercizes to get
used tothe form of a certain structure. I wish more
books would come with an answer key in the back.
However, it goes without saying that you can't use a
practice book with answers for actual testing.

Our school had required more than a thousand pupils to buy a
particular publisher's practice book and it was sold to them with the
answer keys.
Now that's a scandal!

Are the answers in the book or as a separate booklet? If they are
part of the book, the fault lies firmly with the staff member who
chose the book. Sorry. I noticed a couple of books like that and
told the publisher I wouldn't let my students have it for just that
reason. That book
should only be for teachers as a testing resource, as long as the kids
don't catch on and buy it to cheat with.
If it's a separate book, then collect them and send them back to the
publisher or stores.
