Candy is right. There should be some official Union response to this ridiculous line of reasoning. If parents don't know where their 12 year-old kids are at 2am in the morning that is nothing to do with the teachers.As she pointed out, the parents don't educate their kids.We are supposed to teach, discipline and give them moral , spiritual and emotional guidance as well. The parents give them only material stuff (the latest cellphone etc) but balk at buying books. Why is it that the general public doesn't know what every High school teacher thinks about this?
