I signed the form and sent it back without looking at it, assuming it was the same as previous ones. I'm sorry I did it, but what can I do about it now? I've always thought the pay was ridiculous for such exhausting work on our free day, but nobody has seriously complained about it it till now. As with the checkers' strike, the Ministry will be in a bind if we decide to down tools. We have to realise that right and might are on our side. I tested in 3 schools last year because of the lack of testers. It was time-consuming and exhausting (I hate having to be pleasant at the best of times -- having to keep it up for 3 hours at a stretch is torture for me ;) ) I am not going to send back the contract until things are sorted out in our favour. Am I on my own or are others also of the same mind? I realise that many might think that because of what is going on in the south now might not be the time to make waves, but if we don't organise action now it will be too late soon.
