What has to be taken into consideration is the financial cost of
providing tapes for every school. It would be necessary to
provide as many tapes as there are rooms in which the exam
is being taken. The other alternative is to send one tape and
like in the bad old days with hakra'at sheelon, the school
(i.e. English staff) would have to make as many copies as the
school needs! In such a case I definitely prefer the radio!

A new ETNI poll is up:
"Should we continue with the live radio broadcast of the listening
comprehension on the day of the Bagrut exam, or should a recording of the
listening comprehension (tape/cd) be sent to schools?"
