I've added and expanded on the ideas I wrote about recently regarding 
American "War Letters" and songs.

 I've developed lessons which  include:
1.The War Letters  (these can be downloaded)

2. Poetry by local, American-born Maris Mohr "Waiting" and "Peace"
3. 2 songs, When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again, and Johnny I Hardly Knew 
You. The first song glorifies soldiering and most likely is based on the the 
second which is a traditional Irish anti-war song. (these can be downloaded 
from the web. "Google" the names of the songs and you'll find options.)
