1. Regarding violence in schools:  As long as there are so very many kids in
a class and the physical conditions under which we all work are so poor,
violence will continue to escalate.  Pouring money into all sorts of
ridiculous programs will not rectify the situation.
2. Regarding the level of English: We all know how hard we work and under
what kinds of conditions.  And we all know that there are not enough
teachers and not enough hours and too many kids in the classes.  So how in
the world will anything get better?

I wonder if this report is just going to spur another round of teacher
bashing. Or perhaps some real changes will be implemented.  I doubt it.
