Lat year I heard that a computer was being replaced by a newer one at school and asked for the old one for our English room. I knew it was a Pentium 2 and that we wouldn't have an Internet connection. and would only have OFFICE, I believe that many things can be done using Word and Powerpoint.
One of the things I wanted to do, for starters, is have pupils write sentences (in powerpoint) about funny photos which I collected and burned on a cd (without internet there is nowhere to get pictures from). I also planned to try to install READPLEASE.

I got the computer.

It doesn't have a cd drive and the school won't buy me one.

Any suggestions for using Powerpoint now that I don't have a source for pictures? Or am I limited to using WORD only?
