Hi All,
I'm once again sending out a call for library books for Bedouin schools in the Negev. I've already made a dent and appreciate the help from here and abroad, especially Books for Israel.
Let me remind you that most of these schools have no school library and municipal libraries are also non-existent.
I will be in the north over Purim and if anyone has a pile of books to offer, please be in touch. I'll mostly be in the W. Galilee. Most importantly, I'll have my car and be able to carry them back south.
Southerners, your help will be welcome, too and Doron Narkiss at Kaye College has generously offered to collect books left at the college in his mailbox.
Jerusalemites, I have "connections" there who are coming my way in a few weeks and could deliver books.
