“Create a Calming Comfort Center.”
Students need somewhere they can go when they are upset. Adults sometimes need to be alone, and so too do children. The Calming Comfort Center is that kind of special place in the classroom. You can designate an area of the classroom in which there is a rocking chair, calming music, and other items that students say would be calming for them.
The rule would be that there may be only one student at a time in the Class Calming Comfort Center.
