Dear anonymous:
It is your right to disagree with the majority of teachers on the forum, and it is your right to sign your note "anonymous." We live in a democracy and a pluralistic society. I am just pained that you felt necessary to refrain from signing your name. Although several people here have spoken strongly in favor of the strike, nobody denies you your right to feel differently and express those feelings.

I was also very saddened by the fact that you are not the only person who has signed anonymously during this strike. We are like a family here-- all striving for the long term best interests of our pupils and our livelihoods. There are disagreements within families and even fights. That doesn't mean they are no longer a family and "hate," each other; it just means they don't see eye to eye. I hope that others against the strike feel comfortable to express their opinions freely!!!!! This is your privilege!! We are colleagues, not clones!!!! :)

Update: sent e-mails to about 50 Knesset members last week; only received a note back from one of Benny Elon's helpers that: "...he will read the letter and get back to me."

Also, I printed out the petition someone put on the site and posted one in our teachers room. With another copy, I did errands today and signed, among others, my family dr. who says we are 100% right. He says he is very worried about his young children who will not get the same quality of education that he received do to all these cuts.
NOBODY I approached refused to sign the petition.

To where should I fax these when signed, or as I believe, would it be best to send the originals through snail mail?
