Hello! At our Ulpana, the winter bagrut is extremely helpful for my group of 
12th graders which includes from weak to strong 4 pointers. I usually have 
about 1-2 weak pupils for whom I must insure a bagrut certificate by having 
them finish the 3 pt. exam in winter, as I am not 100 % sure they can 
squeeze by the 4 point exam. Then, the bulk of strong girls finish in 
January leaving me free to give very individual care to the weakest 4 
pointers and the very few who want to try and shoot for the 5 point. 
(Totally unnecessary, but if they are willing to work their guts out, who am 
I to tell them not to do it?) Hence, although it is a heck of a lot of work, 
I believe that the winter bagrut definitely benefits weaker pupils and 
allows them a greater chance of passing their 4 pt. bagrut
