Please note, however, that queries regarding the Bagrut exam can be divided into two categories: 1. Those that are under my jurisdiction to answer. I will post these questions together with their respective answers on our site. 2. Those that will be answered by the Minister or the Director-General. I will post any updates that are relevant to this category when I receive them. Here are answers to questions I have received so far: Question: Now that the strike is over, I would like to know what your guidelines are for the Bagrut exams. Answer: The English Inspectorate is aware of the many challenges you and your students face in preparing for the Bagrut exam. Taking this into consideration, the following decisions have been made: 1. For students who will be finishing their English Bagrut exams this year - students can read two books less than originally required for the Extensive Reading Program. 2. For students who will be finishing their English Bagrut exams this year - teachers can teach two short stories instead of the play and one poem less than originally required. Question: If our students are completing the third module in the Winter, can they be tested on the Oral Examination after the Winter written exams? Answer: I am checking out this option at the Ministry. As soon as I get an answer, I will post it on our site. Question: Will projects still be part of the Bagrut? What about students who haven't done projects? Will they still have to do a project? Answer: There are no changes regarding the projects. Question: Will the date of the Summer Bagrut be changed? Answer: This is a decision of the Testing Department.
