Hi all,
This is for teachers of the 7th grade who use the Take Action Book. Maybe good for next year now. In my school Hertzog, Bet Hashmonai we made a great Treasure Hunt for the whole of the 7th grade. We arranged it over two days - we teach in blocks - and we made up clues which we stuck on to candles from cardboard. We had 8 different stations and in order to get a candle the kids had to do some sort of puzzle about Hannukkah - word search, make up an invitation to a Hannukkah party, write and sing a song about Hannukkah etc. After completing the task they were given a candle with a clue to the next stop. We used the pupils from 9th and 10th grade to help us at the various stops so that we wouldn't need too many teachers. it was a great success - kids had a great day and so did we.
