Dear Mr. Lloyd,
My name is Michael Pavelites. I am ten years old and in the fifth grade. I live in Mannington, WV, in the USA. I am contacting you because I am doing a social studies project on school systems around the world. I am interested in learning about schools in Israel. I found the website for the English Teachers Network. I hope you can send my email to elementary school English teachers. I want to learn about at least 6 schools in Israel.
I want to learn as much as I can about primary and middle school education in as many countries as possible. I developed and sent out a questionnaire to children ages 8-13 years old and some teachers asking them to share information about their school. To date, I have 58 children from 24 different countries who have completed the questionnaires.
I am hoping to learn about your school schedule, your school, and how long you spend on each subject. These are the main things I have looked to accomplish from this questionnaire. I want to compare and contrast your school with other schools around the world.

I am asking you to have two or three of your fifth and sixth grade students (10 to 12 year olds) and their English teachers fill this questionnaire out. I would really appreciate it if you have your students fill this out. It would mean a lot to me. Please have those students get permission from their parents to send pictures of themselves, their books, and their school.
I am only doing this for a social studies project. Only the judges, my classmates, and teachers will see it. This is a very secure project. But as you see earlier, I do ask for photos.
I need the information back by March 19 for the county competition or April 19 for the state competition. If you can get me the information by March 19, that would be better.
