I'll be starting in a new Junior High School teaching 3 classes, 5 times a week. I still don't know what classes, what books or my timetable. I've contacted the principal who informs me I won't know until the first day of term.
Apart from planning an ice-breaker and assessment lessons (3-4 lessons), how can I prepare for the new term? 

Any ideas?
