OK List. Another challenge. In a previous posting I mentioned a short story which had been assigned to a 9th grade class, and which I felt was far too difficult. It is a brilliant short story, by an Australian author called Catherine J. H. McDonald. The name of the story is Mudd Lark, and I can't find hide nor hair of it on the internet. I've tried Australian literature, as well as her name and the name of the story. Somebody out there got any information? And by the way, it is a lovely story for a native speaker high school class; tough vocabulary, without seeming to be, and delightful style which is easy to analyse and discuss.
