Dear teachers,

1) I support you in your brave strike and wish you success, for all of our 
sakes.

2) Several teachers recommended that I let you know about the  groups for 
women at midlife in Jerusalem at the Counseling Center for Women, a 
non-profit association. Teachers and others who have attended these groups 
have responded enthusiastically.

We are happy to open once again the following group:
Personal Discovery and Empowerment at Midlife (for women aged 45-60).
This group is in Hebrew, but a group in English may open in the near future.

Too often, women find themselves dealing alone with the many changes of this 
period in life.
How can these developments lead women to new insights and deeper 
fulfillment?
Here is an opportunity for reflection, creative expression and further 
growth.

Typical issues to be dealt with in the group:

 Nurturing and strengthening the self, after years of nurturing others (in 
many women's experience)
Responses to the perimenopause and  menopause process and first signs of 
aging
Changes in relationships in the family and workplace
Connecting with ones inner wisdom and creativity
Challenges facing the woman at midlife in Israeli society
Finding meaning at this stage of life
Body image, intimacy and sexuality
Personal issues brought by group members

 Group Leader: Hilary Milgrom MSW,
Psychotherapist and leader of women's groups.

The group will be held on Mondays from 18.00 to 20.00 for 16 sessions.
Location: The Counseling Center for Women, 4 Rav Ashi Street, San Simon, 
Jerusalem.
