Do not read this letter if you are looking for a laugh.
Last February, somewheres between 70 to 100 bagrut testers showed up for the
briefing in Givat Shmuel to find that their registration by computer had not
worked.
Due to a Marvad system error they were not on the list of Bagrut Markers.
There were no materials for them, and , far worse, no papers to mark. For
those who had just traveled 3 hours, it was a nightmare.
There was no appology from the Marvad; no attempt to alert the teachers in
time (we do live in a blessed age of communications), and no attempt to
rectify the situation ( like pay workers an hour overtime so that markers
from far away could get papers to mark).
Anyway, checking led into Purim, into Pesach, into bagrut scramble , and I
never did send out a letter of complaint.
Well, I just sent it.
If you were one of those angry Bagrut testers, even if you took it all
calmly, please write to me and I'll send you a copy of my letter to Ms Judy
Steiner, so that you can make your voice heard as well.
