HANG ON IN THERE, TEACHERS!!

As the mother of a dislectic daughter, now 31, I sympathize with the 
students' plight.  However, the real LD students are already being 
discriminated against, since the teachers cannot devote the time needed for 
them when faced with the enormous number of students arriving with the only 
thing the testers can award them for their 3000 -4000 shekels - reading the 
text.

Although I hate the idea of putting anything in the hands of a bureaucratic 
Ministry, I think it is only fair that testing be done for free by an 
impartial body.

Meanwhile, teachers, DON'T give in to pressure.  If you feel uncomfortable, 
just remember that you are doing this for future generations of pupils.  If 
you don't stand up for your rights, there won't be any English teachers in 
school, and only those who can afford my services will be able to learn 
Eng;lish.
