Shalom Mr. Pillemer,
My name is Steven Ross and I received your contact info through our temple, Am 
Yisrael in Northfield, Illinois.

The Executive Director of Am Yisrael is Nancy Holab Nevins whose sister, as I 
understand it, is someone you know. 

The reason I am writing is to inquire whether one of your students would be 
interested in establishing a "pen pal" relationship with my daughter Liza Ross. 
Liza turns 13 in August and is currently preparing for her Bat Mitzvah in May. 

Liza is a very typical American preteen. She is sweet, concientious, and 
intrigued by the prospects of a cross cultural exchange.  

Please let me know what you think and if you have a good candidate in mind.
