Subject: How is it?
Hello...
I've never marked Bagrut, therefore I'd be grateful if you could help me
with two issues. The first regards the two-part questions, when the first
one is "circle YES/NO", and the other is "justify". The second is on
punctuation.
1) When a student is asked to justify his answer to a "yes/no" statement /
question, by copying the words that helped him answer, how do we consider a
word / phrase / sentence which in the context of the paragraph does help us
to understand that something is either true or false, but when copied
separately it doesn't give the full information to the relevant statement?
2) What is the correct punctuation of a question within the sentence, as in:
The main question is why do people continue to spend... . (Is this how it
should be: The main question is, "Why do people continue to spend...?"
I know that help will come forward soon, so I thank you all in advance.
