Dear teachers, and organizers,
I thoroughly agree with Judy about the standards at the Rennaissance Hotel. I really enjoyed the Conference. Most of the lectures and talks that I attended gave me food for thought and some interesting information and ideas. I purchased some good materials at the books bazaar too. I always enjoy an opportunity to meet and network with other teachers. So I really think that the organizers did a good job. HOWEVER, I feel that the hotel exploited us. I have sent a letter of complaint to the General Manger. We too (me and my friends) were treated with a lack of respect on more than one occasion. It is also indicative of the management's attitude that when I asked to fill in a feed-back form at the main desk, they told me that they "don't do that". What kind of 5-star hotel gets away with that attitude? I strongly suggest that our feelings are made very clear to them and other alternatives are looked into next year. Fran Levin
