We are hearing a similar rumour - about the extra 4.2% (or whatever it is),
and we can't get a straight answer about this from either the accountancy
dept of the Ministry or from either of the unions. SO - I asked the
secretary of my school to make sure that this buisness is taken OFF my
salary slip and returned to the Ministry. Some teachers in our school wrote
a letter that they are not interested in getting the money. I was waiting
to hear the verdict. Since there is no clear verdict, I would rather not
get the money than to be considered as voluntary joining Ofek Hadash
(Voluntarily? - Unknowlingly!)
