Many have written about recommended book lists for both Hebrew and English 
speakers. This would indeed be most useful. Several years ago Rachel Azran 
compiled a list for Dovrei Anglit/English speakers. What is also necessary 
is that those of us who teach English speakers and/or the growing number of 
native speakers get together at an ETAI conference or outside that framework 
and develop a curriculum for our students. The Misrad Chinuch does not have 
the budget for this. We need to create the program and present our ideas to 
them.
