A wonderful group of 14 teachers (plus me) completed Avril Rose's summer 
course in Bar Ilan University yesterday.  Although it was physically 
difficult (teachers are not accustomed to sitting in class for so many 
hours), I want to tell everyone that it was extremely enlightening and 
useful.  We got a clear picture of what our 'non-readers'  are going through 
both in class and socially, and learned 'tachlis' how to help them.

Besides recommending that everyone do this course, I wanted to take this 
opportunity to thank Avril Rose, who was like a worrying mother hen, making 
sure that no one missed even one second of her class.
She is truly an example of what we can all be like.  I am positive that 
everyone in our class shares my opinion.Thank you Avril
