1. LD pupils who have received my approval for special accommodations (according to the LD Guidelines 2006-7) are not required to receive additional permission for the same accommodations for each moed. The school can attach my letter of approval to the pupil's exam. If, however, the school does not have my letter, it is necessary to re-apply for approval.
2. In response to teachers' feedback, the English Inspectorate and the Testing Department are considering different options regarding the listening comprehension passage on the Bagrut exams. To facilitate the decision-making process, we request that you answer the following question and send your response to: info@xxxxxxxxxx :
If you had the option of either listening to the listening comprehension passage on the radio OR listening to it on a tape/CD, which would you choose and why?
3. The Testing Department has informed me that this winter they will continue piloting the use of CDs for recording the exams for LD pupils. If your school is interested in taking part in the pilot for the Winter moed, please send me the following information to info@xxxxxxxxxx: Name of English Coordinator, Name of School, Fax Number and Address of Your School. I will then pass this information on to the Testing Department.
