Subject: All my sons and grammar
Hello everyone
Isn't true that most people you meet and speak to abroad do
not speak correctly - and students - especially high level students
(old - 5 points) should learn to understand "bad" English. Anyway
they hear it all the time on the TV!
Also students can learn that even if they speak incorrectly when
they are abroad, they will be understood. If teachers insist that
when students speak in class their grammar must be correct,
they are stopping more than 50% of the students from speaking
up which is a shame.
The only people who ought to be more careful of correct grammar
and not inventing words are our representatives talking on
CNN, BBC, FOX or some other international TV company.
